Requests can also be made in writing listing the items you require and handing the slip to the reception desk or sending by post. You can also arrange with the local pharmacies to request and collect your prescription on your behalf.
We require 48 hours notice (excluding weekends and bank holidays) to process repeat prescription requests.
Please note we do not take requests for repeat prescriptions over the phone.
Please be aware that our GPS will not issue a repeat prescription during a consultation. Please do not book an appointment to obtain a prescription as this is inappropriate and uses valuable GP time
Medication Reviews
Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner, practice nurse or practice pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.
Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
